# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 to 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
02 - 6 large cloves garlic, finely chopped
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 2 cups cooked and cooled white rice
05 - 1 scallion, chopped
06 - 1 teaspoon soy sauce
07 - 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
08 - ¼ to ½ teaspoon salt
09 - ⅛ to ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

# Steps:

01 - Add vegetable oil, chopped garlic, and ⅛ teaspoon salt into a medium sauté pan. Place the pan over medium heat and cook for 1-2 minutes until the garlic turns golden brown. Remove the garlic, leaving the garlic-infused oil in the pan.
02 - Add the egg to the pan with the garlic-infused oil and scramble until partially cooked.
03 - Add cooked rice, chopped scallion, soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and the remaining salt to the pan. Turn the heat to high and mix to combine thoroughly.
04 - Stir in the reserved fried garlic and mix well. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt, pepper, or soy sauce, if needed.
05 - Garnish with additional chopped scallions and serve immediately.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - For best results, use day-old rice for better texture and flavor absorption.
