Set oven to 425°F and get it hot. Use a rolling pin or mallet to even out the thickness of each chicken breast while covered in plastic wrap.

Season the chicken with pepper and salt, then arrange them in your baking dish (9x13 size). Let them cook for 10 minutes.

Mix honey, broth, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, cornstarch, and the optional pepper flakes together in a bowl.

Drizzle the sauce over the chicken after the first oven time is done. Put the dish back and cook for 10-12 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
