Pepperoni Rolls (Print Version)

Stuffed crescent rolls loaded with string cheese and pepperoni, then sprinkled with Italian herbs and parmesan.

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 mozzarella cheese sticks, cut in half.
02 - 2 packages (8 oz) crescent dough rolls.
03 - 1 large egg.
04 - 2 teaspoons dried Italian herbs.
05 - 1 bag (6 oz) pre-sliced pepperoni.
06 - 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese.

# Steps:

01 - Dip these goodies in pizza sauce or marinara while they’re still hot and melty.
02 - Bake for about 15 minutes. When they look crisp and golden, take them out.
03 - Whisk up your egg. Brush some on top, then shower with Parmesan and those herbs.
04 - Roll each one up, starting from the big, wide part. Work your way to the pointy tip and let them curl.
05 - On each dough triangle, drop in 6 slices of pepperoni first, then place half a cheese stick.
06 - Open up the crescent roll tubes and pull the dough apart into those triangle shapes.
07 - Kick your oven to 375°F. Cover two pans with parchment or nonstick mats.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Swap in your favorite toppings to switch it up.
02 - Tastes best snatched straight out of the oven.
03 - Pair these with marinara, all warm and ready for dunking.
