Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Coat a 9x13 inch baking pan with cooking spray or butter.

Combine the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder in a mixing bowl. Add in the butter, milk, and vanilla extract, then stir until the mixture is smooth.

Spread the batter evenly in the greased pan. Place the banana slices neatly on top of the batter.

Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small dish. Sprinkle the mixture across the bananas.

Pop the pan into the oven and bake for about 40–45 minutes. It should be golden and a toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean.
