Strawberry Donut Oats (Print Version)

Single portion of baked oats with a strawberry center and donut-style topping.

# Ingredients:

→ Baked Oats

01 - 1 Egg
02 - ½ Ripe Banana
03 - ½ Cup Almond Milk
04 - ½ Cup Rolled Oats
05 - ¼ Teaspoon Cinnamon
06 - ¼ Teaspoon Baking Powder
07 - 1 Tablespoon Almond Butter
08 - 2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup

→ Strawberry Filling

09 - 1 Teaspoon Chia Seeds
10 - 5 Strawberries

→ Topping

11 - 1 Teaspoon Coconut Sugar
12 - ½ Teaspoon Cinnamon

# Steps:

01 - Warm oven to 350°F and lightly coat a ramekin or mug with oil.
02 - Combine all the oat mix ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour part of it into your greased mug.
03 - Heat strawberries and chia seeds in the microwave for 30-45 seconds. Mash them up and leave to thicken for a couple minutes.
04 - Spread the strawberry mixture over the batter in your mug, then top it off with the rest of the oat mix.
05 - Stir together the coconut sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle on top of the oats.
06 - Pop it into the oven for 25 minutes until it's puffed up and has a fluffy texture. Dig in while it's hot.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - To make it vegan, swap the egg with a flax egg.
02 - Both frozen and fresh strawberries work just fine.
03 - Tastes best if eaten while warm.
